Should You Choose Adoption? The information in this section of the website is designed to help birthmothers learn about the adoption process through our Agency A Child's Hope. We focus on helping North Carolina birthmothers because we believe offering and providing in person counseling is important to help women with the emotional highs and lows that can accompany pregnancy and making an adoption plan. Our corporate office is located in Raleigh, N.C., but we have counselors located throughout the state that will be able to support and help you. See attorneys and staff for photos and bios. We want to help you give your child the best possible life, and we want the adoption experience to be a positive one for you. Adoption is a loving decision. Although there are many agencies throughout the United States that advertise in North Carolina, we encourage you to work with an instate agency such as A Child's Hope so that you can receive the personal attention that you deserve during this time. Although our counselors are always available by phone, we also think it is important they be available to meet in person with you as needed to support you through all phases of the process. The counselors will review all of your options, and help educate you about the process. And if you choose to make an adoption plan, we will be there with you every step of the way. If you have an unplanned pregnancy, we encourage you to read through this section of the web site for Birthmothers, and learn as much as you can. Then we encourage you to take the next step, which is to call us on our toll-free number to speak with one of our adoption counselors or to email us your client information and we will have a counselor call you back. 1-877-890- HOPE (4673)
