We’re Sean and Dana. Sharing our lives together and parenting a child is now the focus of our lives. We are committed to fulfilling this opportunity and providing a child all of the wonderful experiences we had growing up.

ABOUT US

We met several years ago at a local restaurant. As our friendship grew, we both learned that we shared similar values about life and the opportunity to have a family through the adoption process. We were married at the beach with our immediate families and closest friends in attendance. With some of our family and friends traveling long distances, we each took time off from work and spent several days visiting with each other. It made for a very memorable celebration.

Sean grew up in Canada with a younger brother. His father was in the Air Force which allowed his family the opportunity to travel extensively. Sean’s extended family lives in Canada, England and the US. His parents live part of the year in Canada and part of the year on the coast of North Carolina. Dana grew up on a farm in the Midwest with three older brothers. Her family still lives in the Midwest. She grew up with lots of relatives living nearby and would get together often.

Both Sean & Dana were both very active in athletics and extra curricular activities throughout their childhood and can’t wait to share their love for sports and the outdoors with their child. Sean is a registered nurse and Dana works in research. Dana plans to take considerable time off work and stay home with a new baby.

OUR FAMILIES

Our families support our decision to adopt. We both share strong family values and grew up in supportive and loving homes. We keep in close contact with both of our families and visit our immediate and extended family as often as we can. Summer, family trips, high school, and college travel ventures were positive learning experiences for us.

OUR HOME

We live in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood where we enjoy walking our three dogs: Fiona, Zoë, and Eulabelle every day. We enjoy cooking together and spending time together working on home improvement projects.

OUR TRAVELS

With Sean’s parents living at the beach part of the year, we make frequent visits there. We enjoy traveling and exploring as much as we can. We’ve traveled all over…two memorable trips include a trip to Canada to visit Sean’s extended family (where Sean proposed to Dana) and a trip to visit Sean’s parents in China, while they were there teaching for a couple of years.

We are a loving and caring couple with the desire to have a family of our own and adoption will help fulfill these dreams. We believe that we have kind hearts and thoughtful minds and can provide unconditional love for a child. Choosing us to love your child would be more than a dream come true.
