Hi! We're Frank, Sue and Grace....Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and our desire to adopt another child.

Even before we married, we both longed to be parents someday.  We learned about infertility through Sue's brother and sister-in-law as they walked through that painful journey, and later adopted their four children. It's a whole new world when it's you!  After praying and talking about it, we decided that adoption may just be the way God had for us to build a family. After adopting our daughter Grace, we are convinced that we want to continue to enlarge our family through adoption!  Here is our story....

The Beginning...

We met through mutual friends who invited us to dinner one night, thinking we might just hit it off. We did!!! From that point on, we developed a good friendship and started dating. Frank proposed at a beautiful park about two years after we met and we were married 6 months later. We had a beautiful wedding here in North Carolina with friends and family flying in from all over the country. It turned into quite a family reunion!!!

About Us

Sue is the youngest of 4 siblings (2 brothers & 1 sister). She grew up out West before finally locating to North Carolina!!! Sue works one day a week and while she is at work, a close family friend,  "Grandma Mary",  cares for Grace. Sue's brothers and sisters live out of state, making for good reasons to travel to see one another!!! Sue?s brother & sister-in-law adopted all 4 of their children! Sue's mom and dad still live in out West and are excited about being grandparents again!!!

Frank grew up, up North. He and Sue visit with both of their families often throughout the year to stay close. Frank enjoys his job with a local company which offers a great deal of flexibility for our family. Frank has 2 sisters who like to visit and our children all enjoy family visits. His mother lives nearby while his dad lives out West with his wife.

Our daughter Grace came into our lives in 2005 and she is a true joy. Grace cannot wait to become a big sister!  She loves kids and will really enjoy having a sibling with whom she can read to and make laugh!  She's a delight and having her has confirmed for us our desire to pursue adoption again! 

Outside of work, we like to see movies, go to concerts, work in the yard, read, cook, hang out with friends, take walks with our dog Lucy, and visit family. We also enjoy performing and making people laugh!! We are both very active with our Church and enjoy performing with the drama ministry on occasion!  Frank and Sue have also been very involved in mission work overseas. Both share a love of traveling and exploring new places and meeting people, so international travel is definitely something we want to share with our child. With our families all over the country, we have great locations to visit. We?'ve enjoyed visits to the Chesapeake Bay, NY City, Arizona, Indiana, Virginia and many more....Grace has had a blast traveling to visit with friends and family! She loves flying on airplanes!

Our Home

We live in a charming house with a fenced in backyard where Grace and our dog Lucy have so much fun. The neighborhood is very family friendly and close to many museums and parks. We love going for walks with Grace and our dog Lucy, our loving Dalmatian!!!

About Adoption

We believe that God redeemed the pain of infertility with the great joy of being Grace's parents!  We believe we can offer your child a loving, stable, two-parent family and can raise your child in the love of God amid extended family and good friends who love him/her very much. We'll encourage him/her to try athletics, music, art, theater and discover their unique talents. Grace has opened up our world culturally and we will continue that with your child and seek to connect him/her with their culture throughout their life.  As we do with Grace, we will talk about adoption from early years with your child and teach them about it as a natural and wonderful way God puts family together!  Finally, we thank you for your loving decision to choose adoption for your child.  You are surely an amazing woman and we are humbled that you would consider us for this gift.  We look forward to wholeheartedly assuming this amazing responsibility!
