Hi, we are Jennifer, Dan and Austin and we’re so grateful you’ve taken the time to consider us. We truly admire your difficult decision to consider an adoption plan. We hope to be able to share with you a glimpse of who we are and the kind of life we could offer a child.

About Us

We were introduced through a mutual friend at church who set us up on a blind date. We had a great time that night and laughed so much. We saw each other almost every weekend after that. Many of our dates were out to dinner and the occasional movie. Dan was busy taking a college class and being a single parent and would often bring Austin along . The three of us went fishing together on one of our dates and had the best time!

One random Wednesday night Dan planned to take me out to dinner. I thought it was odd and asked where we were going. When Dan told me the name of one of the nicest restaurants in town I thought this might be the night! As we were escorted to our table I saw a beautiful vase with two dozen red roses. Finally, the moment I had been waiting for. It was a year from our first date that we married. We spent our honeymoon in the Tennessee Mountains in a secluded cabin with a mountain view.

Jennifer about Dan

Dan loves people and can talk to anyone. Every Sunday after church he’s the one always standing around talking forever. He’s funny and silly and I love him more than I ever thought possible. Dan is the real outdoorsy type. He loves camping and fishing. Austin lives with us and will make a wonderful, protective big brother. He loves playing football and listening to music. Our daily routine includes dinner together and family prayer before bed. Dan and Austin always seem to have a good wrestling match before bed… just to get each other tired I suppose.

Dan about Jennifer

Jennifer is really an amazing woman. She absolutely loves children and is currently a Sunday school teacher of young kids at church. She talks about them often. Jennifer is a great wife and I know will be a wonderful mom. She has a strong love of family and takes good care of Austin and me. Jennifer and I have a great relationship and I love her very much. She also has a great sense of humor and I love the way she and I communicate in our relationship.

Our Home

We live just outside of the city in a quiet neighborhood, full of children of all ages and ethnicities. We are very lucky that a new park was just built close to us and can’t wait to spend hours there on the swings. There is also a neighborhood swimming pool.

Our Family

Almost every Sunday everyone gathers at Jennifer’s parent’s house for dinner and games. We’re all pretty competitive but usually Jennifer wins. Everyone is anxious to become grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. They also look forward to playing more children’s games and seeing them win instead of Jennifer. Her brother and sister-in-law are pregnant now so there will be a cousin close in age to play with. Dan’s parents live out of state but are so fun to visit.

About Adoption

We love our family time and try to eat dinner together as a family each night. The most important thing we hope to teach our children is that they are loved unconditionally. They are loved by us and by God. If they can remember that, they can achieve anything in life. We hope to help them find their own strengths and individuality.

We can't imagine what you must be going through as you consider making an adoption plan, but we are praying for you. Please know that we will always tell your child how much courage and strength it took for you to place them with us. Your child will always know how much you love them. Thank you for taking the time to consider us.
