Hi! We are Chris and Margaret. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. Here is our story....

About Us

We met when Chris was in school and later started dating when we met again in Bible study class. We were married in December of 1998 in a small ceremony at Margaret’s church. Chris’s grandfather who is a pastor, married us.

Margaret was born and raised in North Carolina. She has a master’s degree and worked as a teacher before the children were born. She now enjoys being a stay-at-home mom and has no plans for going back to work. Margaret loves to cook...cooking most of their meals. She grows herbs and vegetables in a garden that Thomas and Anna-Katherine help tend. Margaret also enjoys reading, knitting, playing tennis and jogging.

Chris has lived in North Carolina since he was two. He works in the medical field....getting home most days by 4 p.m. leaving lots of family time together in the afternoons. Outside of work, Chris enjoys reading and golfing. Both Chris and Margaret love any activity that takes place on the water. We spend a lot of time fishing, boating, water-skiing, and swimming with Margaret’s parents. We also enjoy hiking when visiting Chris’s parents.

Thomas is 5 years old and Anna-Katherine is 3. Both children are very excited about having a new addition to our family!!! Thomas and Anna-Katherine love visiting the big pond in our neighborhood and riding bikes. We also enjoy playing outside in our big backyard, playing games like Candyland, reading together, swimming in the neighborhood pool and singing together.

We love taking family vacations! We recently took the children to Sea World and Disney World. It was wonderful!!! We plan on going back again next year.

We are Christians (Protestants) and are very involved with our church. We believe that our relationship with God is the most important thing in our lives. We have prayed a lot about adopting a child and we feel God is leading us in this endeavor.

Our Home

We live in a small town within walking distance to our neighborhood pool, tennis courts and golf. Our spacious home has plenty of room for the children to run and play. Reagan is our Chesapeake Bay
Retriever. He lives outside and the children love playing with him - he’s very gentle. Reagan loves to go places with us, especially when he gets to go swimming!!!

About Adoption

After having two c-sections, the doctor has told us that a third child would be too risky...therefore, adoption is a means in which we can complete our family. The Bible teaches us that children are a blessing from God, and we wholeheartedly agree. We can bless your child with two parents who love each other and will love him/her unconditionally, raising him/her in a Christian home, providing for them materially, including any educational goals that they may have.

We respect and admire birthmothers who chose adoption and wish you the best!
